Mission Statement
Aunt Karen’s Farm was launched in 1988, founded as a quiet retreat for restorative time and creative endeavors. Over the years the Farm has been a sanctuary to an inclusive, diversified population of multi-generational, multi-cultural individuals who range from writers, composers, choreographers, educators, and cultural administrators. The Farm offers a peaceful, contemplative haven, with no political or religious agenda. The wetlands and woodlands are preserved by nature and offer uplifting walking trails. The farm fields serve as a practicum classroom for exploring sustainable agricultural principles and methodologies. The homes provide a comfortable habitat for guests. We are proud to have our efforts endorsed by members of our Advisory Council and Leadership Team. We continue to expand opportunities through our affiliations with SUNY Cobleskill and the New York Foundation for the Arts.
